Job Title: Culinary Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to oversee the complete running of the nursery kitchen. The ideal candidate will have experience in Early Years nutrition and food preparation for children 0-8 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce nutritional dishes for children in line with our menus and recipes
  • Check allergens and ensure each child's health and dietary requirements are safeguarded
  • Maintain good relationships with food suppliers and our accounting team

Requirements:

  • A NVQ or overseas cooking qualification
  • Additional certificates and training in food preparation
  • Starting salary: £28,000- £29,000pa + further training, career progression opportunities, paid holidays, 12 weeks paid holiday

Working Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday, day time shifts only
