About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at First Response Group. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment by ensuring access control, monitoring alarms and CCTV systems, and reporting any hazards or incidents.
  • Carry out patrols and respond to emergency situations as required.
  • Ensure all Health and Safety policies are adhered to and complete necessary reports in line with company documentation.
  • Control and monitor access to the car park and ensure overall tidiness on site.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service and be polite, helpful, and diligent in all interactions.

Requirements:

  • Valid SIA Licence
  • Security experience is preferable
  • Confident with electronic devices
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • High levels of written and verbal communication skills
  • Fully comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history screenable to BS7858
