">Main Responsibilities
  1. Clinical Care Provision: Provide high-quality dental care to children and adults with special needs, including those with learning difficulties, mental health problems, physical disabilities, and medical conditions requiring special care.
  2. Surgery Management: Manage the dental surgery effectively, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective delivery of services, including day-to-day management of a Dental Nurse.
  3. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with community dental teams to provide care to patients who have poor oral health and difficulties accessing or accepting dental care services.
  4. Epidemiological Surveys and Oral Health Promotion: Participate in epidemiological surveys and oral health promotion activities to improve patient outcomes and awareness.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Essential Qualifications: Hold a Dental Therapist qualification.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Possess a relevant postgraduate qualification, sedation training, or a qualification in health/oral health promotion.
Estimated Salary: £43,141 - £56,358 per annum
