Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our Mental Health Liaison team at North Bristol NHS Trust. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a vital role in implementing positive change to the experience of all patients impacted by mental health concerns.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the constant development of the mental health liaison team, assisting in the implementation of the NBT MH strategy, and leading in the education of all NBT staff in issues related to mental health.

Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities:
  1. Professional and Clinical Leadership:

    • Provide visible and accessible clinical leadership, direction, and support to all nursing/AHP staff across the sphere of responsibility/clinical team.
    • Lead by example, demonstrating the highest possible standards of nursing care that patients can expect where their privacy and dignity are respected and protected.
    • Act as a highly knowledgeable and skilled nursing clinical resource to others in the clinical team and the Trust.
  2. Clinical Standards:

    • Implement the Mental Health Strategy across the Trust.
    • Act as a role model in the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of excellent standards of evidence-based patient care.
  3. Education, Training, and Development:

    • Work with the Divisional Director of Nursing to develop and implement specialist and general educational programs for all grades of staff in the clinical team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled nurse practitioner who has a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care. You should have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and teams.

A salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum is available for this position, depending on experience. The estimated salary range reflects the level of responsibility, expertise, and qualifications required for the role.
