Craftsmanship Specialist

Location: Croydon CR0 4AA

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

We are seeking a skilled Craftsmanship Specialist to join Painted Bespoke Joinery LTD in Croydon. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing project plans, preparing detailed cost estimates, and ensuring that all costs are accounted for in line with project requirements.

• Review Project Plans and Specifications: Thoroughly assess drawings and specifications to understand joinery requirements and scope.
• Prepare Detailed Estimates: Create comprehensive materials & hardwares orders and cost estimates.
• Quote Management & Coordination: Effectively manage and prioritize multiple quotes simultaneously, ensuring timely responses and accurate follow-ups.
• Track Project Changes: Monitor changes to project scope and provide cost implications or adjustments as needed.

• Proven Estimating Experience: Of at least 2 years experience as an estimator within the joinery or construction industry.
• Knowledge of Joinery Processes: A strong understanding of joinery processes, materials, and industry standards is essential.
• Strong Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Independence & Teamwork: Capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
• Problem-Solving: Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify challenges and offer cost-effective solutions.
