About the RoleWe are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in structural engineering and facade design to spearhead our facade design team. As a Global Facade Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall direction, coordination, and implementation of facade design projects, ensuring timely deliverables and project management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the facade design team, setting performance objectives and fostering personal growth.
- Develop and implement facade design strategies, ensuring consistency with company goals and commitments.
- Monitor designs and manage timely deliverables, ensuring projects are completed to the highest quality standards.
- Identify and develop talent within the team, establishing new roles for proficient in-house delivery of design services.
- Contribute to business development, nurturing client relationships, and identifying growth opportunities.
- 20+ years of project experience in shopping malls, hotels, hospitals, and residential & commercial towers, high-rise projects using latest design and construction technologies.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling/planning and tracking of progress.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, people management skills, and networking.
- Conflict management and strategic management skills.
- Proficient in software tools like Rhino, Grasshopper, ETABS, SAFE, STAADPRO, AutoCAD, and Revit.
