Job Title: Graduate Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a talented Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Chiltern Park Recruitment. As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new products for our clients in the automotive, scientific, pharmaceutical, electronics, oil and gas, and food processing industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review requests for customized existing pneumatic products to ensure specifications are clear and viable
  • Work with designers to create concept designs of customized existing products to meet customer requirements
  • Carry out testing of pneumatic products and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Participate in larger projects with supervision from senior engineers
  • Provide technical product support to European subsidiaries and visit customers to determine technical requirements for special products
  • Participate in technical market research activities and provide technical support concerning directives and standards relevant to pneumatic products
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2.1 degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar
  • Experience of managing projects and working in a design environment with CAD or hands-on experience
  • Ability to work as part of a multicultural team and travel to European customers when required
  • Excellent spoken and written English and PC skills, including MS Word and Excel
