About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Cheshire East. The successful candidate will provide personalized emotional support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and work collaboratively with the school team to create a stimulating and secure learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a pupil with SEND on a one-to-one basis, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the school team to develop a nurturing learning atmosphere for pupils.
  • Assist teachers in lesson delivery, classroom management, and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Provide individualized support to pupils facing learning challenges to ensure comprehension of the curriculum.
  • Aid in the preparation of teaching materials and organizing resources for lessons.
  • Establish positive relationships with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect.
  • Collaborate effectively with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Excellent references showcasing previous experience in KS1/KS2.
  • A comprehensive CV covering full employment history, with all gaps explained.
  • The legal right to work in the UK.
