Location: Nottingham

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Claims Handler to manage domestic claims from start to finish. As part of a dynamic team in Nottinghamshire, you will ensure claims are handled efficiently and stakeholders are kept in the loop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage claims from first notice of loss to invoicing, coordinating all aspects of Buildings and Contents.
  • Create and maintain claims files, updating regularly throughout the claim lifecycle.
  • Monitor company systems, ensuring staff and management are informed.
  • Communicate proactively with all stakeholders throughout the claim process.
  • Log, manage, and monitor complaint resolutions.
  • Book appointments and ensure all required authorizations and permits are secured promptly.
  • Schedule and oversee work, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Raise purchase orders, ensuring they match the approved scope of work.
  • Act swiftly on all reports, resolving issues before they escalate to formal complaints.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with Business Interruption, Loss of Rent, Plant and Machinery, and other related areas.
