Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Family Support Coordinator to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing family support and guidance to families in need, working closely with social workers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage families in recognising the need for change and work with them to achieve sustainable changes

• Conduct whole family assessments to identify risk factors and develop targeted interventions

• Create and implement family plans with SMART objectives to improve outcomes for children

• Review progress and plan exit strategies to sustain progress

• Use evidence-based tools to engage families and measure progress

• Deliver direct work to children, parents, and families to address risk factors

• Coordinate Team Around the Family meetings and hold others to account for delivery

• Manage a complex caseload and balance competing demands

• Provide written and verbal reports to demonstrate analysis and support others in developing these skills.

Requirements:

• Significant experience of complex whole family direct work with children and families in an early help context

• Experience of guidance and best practice in work with 0–19 year olds and their families

• A recognised academic and/or professional qualification at level 5/Degree level or higher in direct work with families or significant experience in complex whole family work

Working Hours:

36 hours per week

DBS Check:

A satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check at an enhanced level is required for the role.
