Job Overview:
A leading hotel group in the Schiphol area is seeking an HR Advisor - Talent and Culture Manager to support two properties with a combined 800+ rooms and 100+ staff. The successful candidate will lead HR operations, manage employee absences, oversee recruitment strategies, and assist with key HR-related projects. This role works closely with a team of 35 colleagues across multiple F&B outlets and is part of the management team, reporting directly to the General Manager and Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- HR Operations: Address day-to-day HR queries, manage the birthday calendar, and handle operational questions.
- Sick Leave Management: Ensure effective management of employee absences.
- Recruitment & Strategic Planning: Drive recruitment processes and plan strategically for staffing needs.
- Payroll: Oversee basic payroll checks to ensure accuracy in coordination with the head office.
- Projects: Lead HR-related projects such as new uniform rollouts, staff parties, and other initiatives.
- Duty Shifts: Participate in monthly duty shifts alongside other management team members (9 AM - 3 PM).
- Experience in sick leave management.
- Knowledge of basic labor laws (contracts, leave policies, etc.).
- At least 1-2 years in HR within hospitality management or 3-4 years as an HR Advisor.
- Experience working in hospitality HR.
- Ability to work independently and bring creativity to the role.
- Dutch B2 and English B2 proficiency.
- Cultural awareness and a collaborative mindset to work with a diverse team of over 30 nationalities.
- Competitive Salary: €3,848 - €4,200 per month.
- Bonus: 10% annual bonus based on personal and hotel KPIs.
