Salary Information

Estimated salary: £36,395 per annum (dependent on experience).

Job Description

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging PE lessons in accordance with the national curriculum. They will encourage students to participate actively in physical activities and adopt a healthy lifestyle, assessing student performance and providing constructive feedback to support improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  2. Encourage active participation and promote a healthy lifestyle among students.
  3. Assess student performance, providing constructive feedback to facilitate growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Physical Education or a related subject (preferred).
  • Experience teaching PE at Key Stage 3 and 4 (although newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply).
