About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Arla Foods Plc's Westbury site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of maintenance engineers to ensure effective maintenance of equipment and processes
  • Support the site's maintenance strategy by carrying out reactive, proactive, and servicing activities
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and reporting suites to optimize maintenance activities
  • Drive projects including non-capital expenditure (capex) modifications, capex, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
  • Experience as a multiskilled engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Time-served or NVQ Level 3/ONC/HNC/HND qualified in a relevant discipline
  • Proven experience with fast-moving machinery, pumps, valves, inverter drives, sensors, relays, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and Site Services
  • Computer literacy in SAP, Microsoft Office, SCADA, Trend systems, and Human Machine Interface Systems (HMIS)
