We are a specialist recruitment agency for the Technology sector, with an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Support person to join a growing firm in Surrey.

This permanent position offers a unique blend of Network, Helpdesk, Cloud service support, and business application development responsibilities, including ERP programming and administration.

Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday (inc. 1 hour lunch break)

Estimated Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 + Performance Bonus + Medical + Life Assurance + Pension

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide first- and second-line technical support
  • Install and configure software and hardware
  • Set up new users on the system and provide relevant hardware
  • Develop and deliver training on IT security and awareness
  • Support incident management and response
  • Assist with projects and the installation of new systems
  • Maintain server infrastructure
  • Support WAN, LAN, wireless, and telephone networking
  • Offer cloud services and platforms support
  • Troubleshoot network configuration issues
  • Contribute to the development of virtualized infrastructure
  • Maintain ERP solutions and existing programs
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience providing IT support, preferably in a 1st or 2nd line role
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, including M365, Admin portals, Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server Environments, SharePoint, Active Directory, DNS, and MS Azure
  • Knowledge of video conferencing software
  • Experience with bespoke ERP business applications
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, Cisco Firewalls and routers, Sophos XG firewall (IPsec and SSL VPN), and Sophos endpoint and Central
  • Familiarity with Hyper VM, RDS virtualization architecture, and TLS/SSL certification enrollment
  • Experience with Barracuda Backup
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
