We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a UHBW Bank Doctor. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients, engaging in comprehensive assessment and client-centred treatment.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead an integrated team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Therapy Technicians
- Work collaboratively with operational leads to establish the Weston SSARU as part of the BNSSG Stroke Services Reconfiguration Programme
- Deliver a cohesive stroke service for the local population
- Support rotational staff to develop their skills in stroke rehabilitation
- Significant postgraduate experience of multidisciplinary team work
- Strong knowledge and expertise in working in Stroke care
- Experience of working in close collaboration with community services, social care, and voluntary sector organisations
- Experience in directly managing other therapy staff
- Experience in service development and in organising and implementing teaching/training programmes for healthcare professionals and service users
