About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Apprentice Appointment Administrator. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Outpatient Appointment Administrators, ensuring the smooth operation of the Booking Offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the management of appointment bookings, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and guidelines.
  • Provide administrative support, including data input, correspondence, and case note management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Support the Outpatient Appointment Manager and Supervisor in the successful performance of the role.
Person Specification
  • Good general standard of education, including English and Maths grade A-C or equivalent.
  • Awareness of national waiting list targets/timelines and Trust policies on the management of waiting lists.
  • Awareness of NHS Organisations and working practices.
  • IT and keyboard skills in an office setting, with knowledge of Microsoft office software packages.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a good telephone manner.
