Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Window Fitter to join our team at The People Pod. As an Assistant Window Fitter, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced window fitters in the installation of windows and doors.
Responsibilities:
- Removing old windows and doors using hand and power tools.
- Fitting new windows and doors.
- Taking measurements for new fittings and making any bespoke changes.
- Fixing windows, doors, and other products.
- Clearing away any materials left after the job is finished.
- Repairing and replacing products as the customer requests.
- Taking part in ongoing training and development.
Requirements:
- Experience of fitting windows, doors, and conservatories in UPVC or general building work.
- Ability to work on your own initiative when assisting with windows and doors on site.
- Health and Safety consciousness.
- A driving license is essential.
Benefits:

Salary: A great salary whilst training up to £26,000 (£500 per week + bonus) and rapid career progression with salary reviews up to £31,800 (£600 per week) once fully trained as a competent window fitter.
This is a full-time PAYE career with fast-track progression, not a temporary contract. Our client has secured long-term contracts with major insurance companies, ensuring they can guarantee work throughout the year, providing job security and reliability.
