About the Role:
Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly experienced Financial Controller to join a private equity-backed business in Swindon. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing the production of annual accounts, tax strategy, and compliance, as well as cash flow reporting and accounts payable and receivable functions.
About You:
- You will be a fully qualified accountant with significant experience leading a team of accountants at different stages of their careers.
- You will have expertise in cash flow forecasting, tax compliance, and financial reporting, ideally in a large company.
- You will have excellent skills with Microsoft Excel and experience using Sage or SAP would be beneficial.
What We Offer:
- A competitive base salary up to £65,000 depending on experience.
- 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Hybrid working with 3 days in the office in Swindon (free parking).
- 4% employee pension contribution matched by the company.
