Head of Engineering

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Engineering to lead our engineering, maintenance, and facility management services at our site in Scotland. As a key member of our Site Senior Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in developing site strategy, implementing site performance KPIs, and translating these into specific annual performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the engineering function at the site to safely and cost-effectively deliver engineering, maintenance, and facility services required to support site activities.
  • Define and implement the site engineering development strategy, in collaboration with key stakeholders, including the five-year capital investment plan.
  • Implement safe and GMP-compliant working practices within the function, ensuring the team performs their duties accordingly.

  • Ensure site-wide adherence to all statutory requirements and Company regulations and guidelines applicable to engineering activities which relate to engineering integrity.
Requirements:
  • A relevant degree qualification in an Engineering or Science related discipline, with Chartered Engineer status desirable.
  • Extensive industry experience in engineering leadership within a highly regulated manufacturing facility, preferably within the Pharmaceutical sector.
  • A working knowledge and practical experience with cGMP requirements.
