**About the Role**

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Independent Visiting service in Cannock. As an Independent Visitor, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people in care by providing companionship, guidance, and support.

This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable young people, helping them build confidence, develop life skills, and achieve their full potential.

You will work closely with our team to match you with a child or young person who shares similar interests, values, and personality traits. This will enable you to establish a meaningful relationship and provide tailored support that meets their individual needs.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and young people, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to commit to regular meetings and activities. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training and support will be provided.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • To form a supportive relationship with your assigned child or young person
  • To engage in regular activities and outings with your match, such as going to the cinema, bowling, or playing sports
  • To provide emotional support and guidance to help your match overcome challenges and build resilience
  • To maintain regular contact with our team to ensure the smooth delivery of services and address any concerns

**What We Offer:

* A competitive salary of £20,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience
