We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Biostatistician to join our Biostatistics function at GSK.
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in advancing the science of human health by designing and implementing statistical methodologies to enhance study designs, analysis, and interpretation in science research. You will collaborate with other in-house quantitative groups to drive the adoption of statistical best practice within Research & Development.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of statisticians, programmers, and data scientists who are passionate about advancing the science of human health. You will have the chance to build and maintain relationships with scientific stakeholders, drive the adoption of statistical best practice, and develop junior statisticians through mentoring and supervision.
The estimated salary for this role is $140,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
Candidates should have a strong background in statistical consulting, working alongside researchers from various fields to devise practical solutions for scientific inquiries. Experience in both recognizing and innovating statistical methodologies to enhance study designs, analysis, and interpretation in science research is essential. Familiarity with statistical approaches in areas including experimental design, mixed models, Bayesian statistics, linear and nonlinear regression, repeated measures, machine learning algorithms, causal inference, and high-dimensional data analyses is also required.
