About the Job
We are seeking a friendly, flexible, and patient individual to provide support and guidance to a 19-year-old young man with Autism. As a personal assistant, you will help him develop independence, confidence, and social skills in and around the local community.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build a strong and meaningful relationship with the young man, supporting his daily life and promoting his well-being. You will work together to identify and achieve goals, ensuring that his needs are met and exceeded.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life, working in a supportive environment with a kind and loving family. The ideal candidate will have a good sense of humour, be able to use their own initiative, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
You will need to be comfortable working independently, using your own judgment and discretion when making decisions about the young man's care. This role requires a high level of empathy, understanding, and patience, as you will be working closely with the young man to promote his independence and autonomy.
About the Person We Are Looking For
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting people with Autism, has experience working with vulnerable adults, and can demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care and support. A car driver with their own vehicle would be an advantage, as you may be required to transport the young man on occasion.

Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this role is £18,000 - £20,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
