Job Description
This Deputy Manager position is an exciting opportunity to join our team at our Home in Northampton, where we provide holistic and therapeutic care to young people from 8 to 17 years old with learning disabilities and complex needs.
As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the Children's Home, including providing professional support, guidance and supervision to the staff team.
You will play a key role in ensuring that our children and young people have an experience of childhood that they can reflect upon and carry with them into adulthood.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £32,000 - £38,000 per annum, plus sleep-in allowance (depending on experience).
In addition to the competitive salary, we offer:
- Ongoing training and development, including the opportunity to complete the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
- Additional overtime and sleep-in enhancements
- Some on-call and weekend working
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Recent experience working as a Deputy Manager or Senior Residential Support Worker in a Children's Home
- A Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent qualification)
- A full UK Driving Licence with access to your own transport
