Shearwater Marine Services Ltd is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of H&S management systems and a proven track record of improving safety performance.
Job DescriptionThe H&S Advisor will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing effective H&S policies and procedures.
- Conducting site safety walks and performing inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Participating in audits to ensure the highest standards of safety are maintained.
- Providing training and coaching to operational teams on H&S best practices.
- Formal H&S qualification – NEBOSH General Certificate minimum.
- Experience in a H&S advisory or compliance-focused role, ideally within a construction, manufacturing, or marine environment.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience with ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety) management system requirements.
Salary: Competitive package up to £65,000 per annum.
