**Job Summary**

Aviation Technical Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Technical Specialist to join our team at Morson Talent.

Estimated Salary: £37,356.00 - £40,000.00 per annum + dependent on skills and experience

Location: RAF Coningsby

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and diagnostic activities on aircraft or components, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Review operational performance of aircraft components and systems, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Analyze and diagnose faults, applying technical knowledge to effect repairs or suggest procedural improvements.
  • Ensure maintenance is completed on schedule, escalating any issues as required.
  • Maintain personal task competencies, receiving on-the-job training to remain current.
Requirements:

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, including Typhoon Type or Q course, fully competent with required Authorities.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a mechanical engineering environment.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience documented via a logbook demonstrating skills, knowledge, and Authorities.
  • Completion of an Aeronautical Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications.
  • Aircraft platform training on Typhoon or equivalent.
