Morson, a leading technical recruitment agency, is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team at their modern Head Office in Salford. This newly created role will involve responsibilities across all areas of the accounting and financial reporting process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the coordination of the annual audit and financial statement preparation process for the Group and its subsidiaries.
  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of statutory returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Become a super user of the Group consolidation software, streamlining financial reporting processes.
  • Assist with the implementation of new IFRSs and other reporting standards applicable to the Group, including non-financial measures such as climate reporting.
