Unipart Rail seeks an experienced Supply Chain Development Executive to join its team and drive strategic partnerships and deliver best-in-class performance from a defined portfolio of suppliers.

This role involves developing and executing procurement strategies for a specific category of spend, covering direct and/or indirect materials, components, assemblies, and services. You will have responsibility for contracting arrangements with suppliers, developing supplier relationships, and managing their performance.

The ideal candidate possesses strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial drivers and product cost analysis, excellent supplier development and relationship management skills, and the ability to negotiate, implement, and manage framework agreements and long-term contracts.

The rewards include a competitive salary of £75,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as business class travel, pension and death in service provisions, 25 days holiday, employee assistance programme, health and wellbeing initiatives, and free on-site car parking.
