Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Early Intervention in Psychosis team in North Warwickshire and Rugby. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing significant therapy provision and contributing to the development of our service.

Main Duties
  • Provide therapy provision to individuals with early psychosis and their families
  • Contribute to the development of our Early Intervention in Psychosis Service
  • Work with a range of clients, including those with complex presentations and trauma
  • Deliver CBT and family interventions, including those with complex presentations and trauma
Person Specification
  • Doctoral level qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
  • Current registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC
  • Expertise and/or training in Clinical Supervision for doctorate level trainees
  • Assessed post-qualification experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist
  • Experience of working with people and their carers in SCMH or with people with complex mental health needs in different settings
What We Offer

We support our psychologists to develop their skills, particularly in developing specialist skills in working with psychosis, trauma, and family work. There will be opportunities to complete HEE funded courses on CBT for psychosis and Behavioural Family Therapy. We also encourage and support our psychologists to undertake EMDR training and provide regular EMDR supervision.

Please note that it is a mandatory requirement for all newly appointed staff to be registered with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Update Service.
