About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to join our SSE Renewables Finance Leadership Team as a key commercial finance business partner. This is a critical role that will involve working closely with the SSE Renewables business leadership teams to provide financial guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide financial expertise and support to the SSE Renewables business leadership teams, ensuring that financial impacts and risks are clearly identified and communicated.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including the MDs and other finance leaders.
  3. Play a key part in commercial, investment, and strategic decision-making within the SSE Renewables leadership teams, providing astute commercial challenge and support.
  4. Act as the main finance point of contact for relevant M&A activity within the business unit.
  5. Identify emerging themes that can impact financial and operational performance, and provide clear and actionable recommendations to mitigate or maximize financial outcomes.
