Job Title: PDI Technician

Vacancy Overview:


Octane Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled PDI Technician to join their commercial vehicle company. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections on all vehicles, ensuring they meet the required standards.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform pre-delivery inspections on all vehicles to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Carry out collection inspections on all vehicles prior to customer delivery.
  • Complete minor services and repairs as required.
  • Accessories vehicles as and when required.
  • Ensure all work carried out meets health and safety requirements and meets Pentagon and manufacturer standards of quality.
  • Report any additional repair or safety issues to the Workshop Manager.


Requirements:



  • Previous workshop experience.
  • A minimum City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Repair.
  • The ability to follow instructions and procedures.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • A full UK manual driving licence.
  • A positive can-do attitude.
  • A Team Player mentality.
