Material Handler

At Greif, we are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in a role that combines routine production machinery operation with attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Operate routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.
• Carry out routine activities that produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintain logs and records of units produced and report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment, and perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and up to 2 years of relevant experience.

Key Skills

• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Willingness to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
• Fundamental understanding of or ability to quickly learn production equipment.
