European Road Freight Coordinator

Our client, a specialist international freight forwarding firm, is seeking a European Road Freight Operator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity to work with a reputable company that offers support, training, and a realistic workload to ensure job satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate with customers and overseas agents to coordinate shipment details.
- Organise and plan loads while coordinating with hauliers to ensure efficient transport routes.
- Prepare and raise the necessary export documentation to facilitate trailer transit through UK ports and European borders.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that arise.
- Minimum of 2 years in road freight operations is required.
- A good standard of education is necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including a professional telephone manner.
- Previous experience with trade lanes: Covering all of Europe.
- Must have sound knowledge of both import and export processes (road).
- Proficient in using computer systems; additional training will be provided for in-house software.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and learning is essential.
