Development Fundraiser

National Museums Scotland is one of the leading museum groups in Europe, with a collection that showcases the diversity of human culture and history.
We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to join our team as we continue to grow and develop our fundraising strategies. This role will be responsible for managing a team of four and planning and delivering individual giving programmes that increase income, retention, and engagement through our Membership and Patron schemes.
- Manage the Development Officers to achieve departmental objectives, ensuring alignment with organisational policies and procedures.
- Plan and deliver high-profile fundraising events that showcase the museum's collections and mission.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in fundraising, marketing, and relationship management, with experience of managing a team and developing successful fundraising strategies. They will be passionate about the museum's work and committed to helping us achieve our goals.
We offer a competitive salary of £48,671 - £53,269 per annum, plus benefits including a 35-hour working week, Monday to Friday.
