Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer Mobile

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management services.

The successful candidate will perform maintenance tasks on both plant, equipment, and building services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and manage risks associated with equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, improving performance of machinery, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
  2. Utilize new equipment and technologies to maintain a working production environment, liaising with clients on requests for specific machinery PPMs.
  3. Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance department, working on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes.
  4. Develop and follow risk assessments, and be available to address any issues that arise from them safely and accurately.
  5. Work on motors, gearboxes, valves, encompassing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  6. Use mobile devices to accurately project and complete any works from the CAFM maintenance system.
  7. Liaise with onsite site services to manage any building services-related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required.
  8. Act as a responsible person when required, and deputize the shift leader during annual leave or sickness.
  9. Work overtime as and when the business requires, including nights and weekends, with minimal notice.
  10. Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance is essential.
  11. Electrical competences/qualifications to a minimum of City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition are required.
  12. Mechanical competences/qualifications to an acceptable standard to City and Guild's Mechanical are necessary.
  13. Good multi-skilled ability is essential.
  14. PLC diagnostics/repair competencies are required.
  15. NVQ qualifications to Level 2, Electrical and Mechanical, are desirable.
  16. Ability to supervise contractors is essential.
  17. Able to write risk and method statements.
