Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Structured Finance Leader to join our team at BBVA, responsible for originating and executing Project Finance transactions across various markets.

About the Role
  • Support origination of Project Finance transactions, manage and develop relationships with clients, lenders, advisors, etc.
  • Good understanding of Project Finance sectors (energy, TMT, infrastructure, etc.) and international financial markets.
  • Experience in origination and execution of Project Finance deals, including financial structuring, financial modelling, managing Due Diligence process, financing documentation, credit analysis, etc.
Requirements
  • Six to ten years of relevant experience in Structured Finance, Project Finance, Commercial Real Estate or comparable background in investment banking or other industry.
  • Ideal experience in winning and executing large scale advisory mandates and/or lead arranging and bookrunning positions.
  • Preferable knowledge in financial modelling and project finance techniques reflecting a thorough understanding of different accounting standards.
  • Preferable some legal knowledge.
  • Business School/University degree in economics or business administration, law, or engineering.
  • Preferably international working experience.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, other language advantageous (specially French or German).
