About the Role:

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering technical design work, leading and managing projects, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of surface and foul water drainage, highways, earthwork strategies, and utilities for new developments.
  • Work closely with developer clients to bring out the best in your team and deliver high-quality designs.
  • Oversee the design of infrastructure for residential schemes, ranging from 100 units to over 3000 units, and inner city regeneration projects.
  • Develop and implement design strategies to meet client requirements and company standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.

Requirements:

  • A background in development infrastructure design gained at a UK consultancy.
  • Knowledge of relevant software, including Civil 3D, PDS, Site 3D, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, Causeway Flow, etc.
  • Working understanding of sectional agreements, including S278, S38, S104, S106, S185, etc.
