About Us:

South Wilts Mencap is a charity that has been supporting the learning disability community within Salisbury and South Wiltshire for over 60 years.

We are seeking volunteers to help us enable and inspire the learning disabled community of Salisbury and South Wiltshire. Our board has three volunteer trustee vacancies providing the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to get involved in supporting and enhancing the lives of our local LD community.

Job Description:

  • Community relations
  • Retail (to support our shop at 16 Catherine Street)
  • Business Development
  • Human resources
  • Fundraising

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of working in a similar field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to commit to regular trustee meetings.
