Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our facilities management team at Carbon 60.

  • As a key member of our EHS team, you will provide safety and risk-intelligent professional support to our clients and teams, advising on Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and wellbeing matters.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and reporting EHS accidents, incidents, near misses, and safety observations, ensuring timely investigations, corrective actions, and learning from experience.

You will assist operational teams at pre-audit reviews and client audits as requested, supporting internal and external EHS audits and completion of corrective actions within specified timeframes.

Additionally, you will review existing HSWE policies, procedures, and safe systems of work, including risk assessments, methods statements, and permit-to-work.

This is a mobile South Role including London, covering East to West. Reporting office either Eastleigh or Sevenoaks. A full UK passport is essential for security clearance reasons.

Person Specification
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development (member of IOSH).
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a health and safety-related role.
  • Auditor training or auditing experience.
  • Experience of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of safety and risk management.
  • An understanding of CDM2015 and BS 5975 Temporary Works Standard.

Salary: £45-50k per annum + car allowance (£4,680)
