Compensation: £30,000 - £42,000 annually based on experience. Potential earnings up to £48,000.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 1:00pm (on a rotational basis)
Lookers is seeking a proficient Automotive Service Technician to become a vital member of our energetic workshop team. Collaborating closely with experienced professionals, you will play an essential role in conducting vehicle diagnostics utilizing advanced technology, performing routine maintenance, and executing necessary repairs.
Under the mentorship of a highly regarded industry expert, you will gain invaluable insights and skills. We are committed to supporting your professional growth by providing access to comprehensive training programs, including manufacturer-specific courses and specialized training in Hybrid & Electric vehicles.
Our technicians are key players in our Service department, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction with every service interaction. We welcome applications from both certified Automotive Technicians and experienced Mechanics from various backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing vehicle diagnostics using state-of-the-art technology
- Executing vehicle maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications and client requests
- Completing additional repairs as authorized by customers
- Conducting warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines and ensuring proper documentation
- Carrying out road tests on customer vehicles to confirm resolution of issues
- Accurately managing all required documentation
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in a workshop environment, demonstrate self-motivation, ambition, and a desire to improve their skill set while upholding high standards. A valid UK driving license and NVQ Level 3 certification or equivalent are essential. An MOT License would be a plus.
While previous experience with our brand is advantageous, it is not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided. If you meet the qualifications for this position, we encourage you to reach out for further discussion.
