About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer to join our team at First Response Group. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and staff.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, ensuring safe access to buildings, and carrying out patrols and hazard reporting as requested.

As a Security Officer, you will be an integral part of our team and will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team. You will be expected to adhere to our policies and procedures at all times and to provide a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment
  • Ensuring safe access to buildings
  • Carrying out patrols and hazard reporting
  • Ensuring all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
  • Completing all necessary reports in line with company documentation
  • Access / Egress control
  • Monitoring of alarms & CCTV system
  • Key Holding responsibilities
  • Controlling and monitoring access to the carparks
  • Adhering to policies and procedures at all times
  • General refuse management & ensuring overall tidiness on site
  • Providing a high standard of customer service
Requirements
  • Valid SIA Licence (must have DS Licence, CCTV preferable)
  • At least 1 year's experience in Security
  • Ability to drive (must have own transport due to location of site)
  • Confident with electronic devices
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Punctual and reliable
  • High levels of written and verbal communication skills
  • Fully comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history screenable to BS7858
