We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Assistant to join our team at Get Staff. As a Senior Finance Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain all financial records, including accounts receivable and payable, reconciliations, and month-end reporting.
- Process and manage financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and credit notes.
- Prepare and submit financial reports, including VAT returns and payroll financials.
- Assist in implementing new financial procedures and systems to improve efficiencies.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders.
- Recognised accountancy qualification (AAT Level 4 or equivalent).
- Experience in a finance environment, preferably in the construction industry.
- Working knowledge of Sage 50 and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Able to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
