Join our team of experienced professionals in the Consultancy division of Mace, a leading international consultancy and construction company. As a Project Management Graduate, you will play a key role in delivering projects and programmes for our clients in the Local Government sector.
About the RoleAs a Project Management Graduate, you will be responsible for supporting projects to deliver agreed outcomes within time, cost, and quality requirements. You will work closely with the project team to assist in the delivery of project objectives, monitor and engage in relevant Health, Safety and Wellbeing standards, and assist in the preparation and modification of project plans.
Key Responsibilities- Support project teams to deliver project objectives in line with project plans
- Monitor and engage in relevant Health, Safety and Wellbeing standards
- Assist in the preparation and modification of project plans
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure robust quality systems are managed and monitored
- Attend and record relevant meetings, providing contextual information and analysis
- Partner with stakeholders to actively engage in risk management and mitigation treatments
- Assist in tracking project changes and ensuring they are processed and formalised within agreed timeframes
- Assist in providing handover documentation prior to practical completion
- Understand business priorities through Construction to Production, Digital & Data and Responsible Business
- Support project and programme management team activities relating to external/third-party client appointments
- Conduct research, analysis, record-keeping and other supporting activities to ensure timely and accurate information
- Identify solutions to issues that require problem-solving

- A future or recent graduate with a bachelor's degree or higher in any subject
- 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications)
Given the nature of our work, flexibility is key. Our projects and clients are based in various locations, so you should be prepared to travel frequently to different project sites or Mace offices. A positive and adaptable approach to travel is therefore essential, as it may be a regular part of your role. To support this, Mace offers travel expense reimbursements for business travel, including mileage, public transport fares, and, where necessary, accommodation.
