Job Description

We are seeking a skilled interpreter to join our team of freelance linguists in Tower Hamlets. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between non-English speakers and service providers in various settings.

The ideal candidate will have excellent language skills, both written and spoken, and be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A degree in translation or interpreting is preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting services for clients in Tower Hamlets and surrounding areas
  • Accurate and efficient communication between service users and providers
  • Working closely with our team to provide high-quality interpreting services

Requirements:

  • Fluent English language skills (native level)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Degree in translation or interpreting (or equivalent experience)
