Development & Solutions Lead

AGS Cyber is seeking a highly skilled Development & Solutions Lead to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of websites, applications, and other digital services for our clients and prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients to identify their needs and requirements, creating solutions to meet their objectives using a range of digital approaches.
  • Support the development team and all other teams in the design, implementation, and support of digital services.
  • Ensure that assigned projects are delivered on-time, on-brief, and to the agreed standard.
  • Position yourself as an expert consultant in the digital transformation, architecture, and solutions space across IT, marketing, and sales operations.
  • Lead workshops with clients to conduct effective discovery and gather requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a software developer with an understanding of different development languages and frameworks, ideally web-based technologies with a JavaScript focus.
  • Experience and understanding of data structures and databases, including SQL, GraphQL, and MongoDB.
  • Understanding of hosting infrastructure for websites and applications, including cloud-based architecture, serverless, and microservices.
  • Strong understanding of UX & UI and experience developing experiments, pattern libraries, and wireframes.
  • Strong understanding of the legislative landscape around digital solutions, including GDPR, CCPA, and ADA.
