Senior Quantity Surveyor - Energy Division

Our client, a leading engineering and technology company, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Energy division. With a strong track record in advanced system integration and operational technology, this role will involve supporting projects across a diverse portfolio.

The successful candidate will provide essential commercial support to project teams, managing contracts and ensuring that financial objectives are met. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting all commercial activities on projects and tenders, ensuring adherence to the company's commercial strategy.
  • Managing contractual change control, ensuring timely agreements with customers and subcontractors.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, ensuring effective financial and contractual control.
  • Actively managing risk and opportunity within project teams, contributing to overall commercial performance.
  • Preparing and submitting interim applications for payment, monitoring cash receipts, and managing any financial discrepancies.

Strong experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the Energy or Infrastructure sectors, is essential. Excellent commercial and financial awareness, with the ability to manage project performance, is also required. Familiarity with contract management tools like CEMAR and professional certifications such as RICS or CIOB are preferred.
