Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Merchandising Specialist. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for placing point-of-sale (POS) materials in designated areas of Asda stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sign into the store and introduce yourself to key store contacts
  • Liaise with store colleagues to locate previously delivered POS materials
  • Place POS materials, including bollard covers, promotional barkers, blinkers, and gondola end cardboard display units, in pre-arranged sections of the store
  • Use a stepladder to place media at height

Requirements

  • Availability to work every Thursday, with varying hours between 6am and 7pm
  • Ownership of a smartphone (Android or Apple) to report visits and navigate an app-based system
  • Ability to work at height using a stepladder
  • Competence in using and navigating an app-based system
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with POS materials
