About the Role

IDEX Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled technical expert to join our team as a Pensions Insurance Technical Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to our clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a referral point for complex technical matters
  • Provide advice, support, and problem-solving expertise
  • Support the implementation and ongoing administration of insured pension schemes
  • Develop innovative solutions to technical challenges
  • Apply expert knowledge of pensions administration activities to any scheme
  • Forge strong working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Assist with system configuration and automated calculation updates
  • Assist with training in insured technical matters
  • Assist with reviewing documentation and processes for insured administration
Requirements
  • Experience of schemes transitioning through buy-in, buy-out, and bulk annuity administration
  • Expert knowledge of pensions administration activities and ability to apply to any scheme
  • Previous pensions administration experience of Defined Benefit schemes
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of pensions legislation framework
  • Previous supervisory, leadership, and management experience
Desirable Criteria
  • Ideal experience of bulk annuity administration in a TPA environment and associated FCA compliance and reporting requirements
