Job Title: Lecturer in Beauty and Related Therapies

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced lecturer to join our team in the School of Customer Services Industries. As a lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, ensuring they achieve their full potential and develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the beauty and related therapies industry.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team of lecturers and contribute to the growth and development of our beauty therapy programs. You will be part of a curriculum team, working closely with colleagues to design and deliver innovative and engaging learning experiences that meet the needs of our students and the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students, including lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions.
  • Develop and maintain curriculum materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and resources.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Contribute to the development of the beauty therapy programs, including curriculum design and review.
  • Participate in quality assurance and enhancement activities to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A level 3 industry-relevant qualification and a recognized teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards obtaining one within two years of employment).
  • Current industrial experience in an appropriate discipline and up to-date knowledge of current industrial practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to delivering high-quality educational experiences.
