IFA Compliance Officer (DipFA) - Dorking

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our client's team in Dorking. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Financial Services industry, with a preference for diploma-qualified individuals (level 4). As a key member of the compliance team, you will work closely with the owners and existing staff to ensure the company adheres to FCA guidelines and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee control systems to maintain regulatory compliance and internal policies
  • Evaluate the efficiency of controls and implement continuous improvements
  • Assess the company's future ventures to identify potential compliance risks
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a compliance role within the financial services sector
  • In-depth knowledge of FCA standards and regulations
  • Excellent reporting procedures and record-keeping skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Solution-oriented and service-minded
  • Technology-savvy and willing to adapt to new systems and software
  • Good analytical and decision-making skills
  • Discreet and professional in all communication
