Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join our team as a Technical Lead for EC&I Engineering activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of work are executed on time, to budget, and in full compliance with company standards and UK/European legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote process safety leadership as the core of our culture.
  • Ensure EC&I Engineering activities within Capital Projects are completed and are fully compliant with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Act as technical lead providing guidance within the team on EC&I matters for Capital and asset care Projects.
  • Plan and manage the programme of works for EC&I tasks associated with Projects delivery.
  • Liaise with other members of the OPA Asset Technical Team on standards & codes.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a degree qualification, ideally at Chartered engineer status or working towards that level, with project management experience preferably within a COMAH regulated industry/operation.

They will have excellent knowledge and experience in the specification of process instruments, process control and safety systems, as well as a proven track record of resolving issues over a wide range of time frames.

A full (preferably clean) driving licence is essential for this role.
